The International and Public Affairs Departmental Undergraduate Group (DUG) promotes the International and Public Affairs concentration and supports International and Public Affairs concentrators and prospective students. The DUG convenes general body meetings, organizes and sponsors events targeted at community-building, and works in close contact with the IAPA faculty and staff to ensure undergraduate students concentrating in IAPA are well-informed and engaged.

Tope Adetunji '26
Tope Adetunji is a current junior concentrating in IAPA on the Policy and Governance track. She aspires to be an Intellectual Property attorney focusing on copyright and trademark law. She is passionate about enacting change at the local level and hopes to support economic development in Nigeria in the future. Tope seeks to foster a diverse, open space for concentrators with varying goals to explore their interests.
Jordan Lac '27
Jordan is a sophomore double concentrating in IAPA (Security) and Applied Mathematics, focusing on US-China relations and maritime security. She is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community for undergraduates and Watson faculty. Beyond her role in the IAPA DUG, Jordan is a writer and DEI officer for the Brown Political Review, a Amnesty International USA Providence local group member, and an Indo-Pacific security policy intern with the US DoS Bureau of East Asian & Pacific Affairs.
