IAPA DUG

The International and Public Affairs Departmental Undergraduate Group (DUG) promotes the International and Public Affairs concentration and supports International and Public Affairs concentrators and prospective students. The DUG convenes general body meetings, organizes and sponsors events targeted at community-building, and works in close contact with the IAPA faculty and staff to ensure undergraduate students concentrating in IAPA are well-informed and engaged.

Charlie Adams '25

Charlie Adams

Charlie is a Junior double concentrating in IAPA (Policy and Governance) and Environmental Studies & Sciences. As a DUG Leader and IAPA Student Assistant, Charlie seeks to build a welcoming and engaged community that supports each concentrator’s diversity and ambition. On campus, he enjoys investigating the politics and possibilities of the green transition through his writing at the Brown Political Review and reporting for the Possibly Podcast.

 

Marcos Montoya Andrade '25

Marcos Montoya

Marcos Montoya Andrade is a current junior double concentrating in IAPA and Economics with an interest in immigration law and legal anthropology. He is passionate about community-building within Watson by hosting engaging and collaborative events for his peers. Outside of the IAPA DUG, Marcos is a research assistant for Professor Kevin Escudero, a TA for the Economics department, the Internal Vice President of the Brown Consulting Club, and the Policy Chair for the Brown Dream Team.
