Research Policy Labs

The Watson School Research Policy Labs enhance the School's mission to promote a just and peaceful world through research, teaching and public engagement through a combination of active faculty research, student training, research-based courses and engagement with the world of practice. 

The Civil Conflict and Democratic Erosion Policy Lab aims to produce rigorous empirical evidence to better understand and counter threats to peace and democracy both in the US and around the world.
The Justice Policy Lab (JPL) is a research and mentoring collective focused on ending and reducing racial, economic, and health disparities by critically examining the causes of placed-based inequality.
The Realizing Rights Lab focuses on identifying and relieving barriers to the experience of rights, with a focus on voting rights and disability rights in schools.
