The Watson Institute Diversity and Inclusion Committee invites Watson-affiliated faculty looking to revise or create courses that represent diverse scholars, issues of structural inequality, racial disparities, and/or systems of power, to apply for a course development award.
Collaborating with the Brown UTRA program, Watson is providing funds to support 2-3 additional faculty research projects through student research assistant funding. The goal of this fund is to support Watson faculty research, while also moving toward a more transparent and inclusive process of hiring student research assistants. The University has experienced success in diversifying the research assistant applicant and hiring pool through the new UTRA process. We encourage you to submit your research proposal for UTRA funding to the University by October 3.
Deadline: Faculty applications are due October 3.
