Associate Dean of Administration and Finance

The Associate Dean of Administration and Finance, reporting to the Dean of the new Watson School of International and Public Affairs and part of the Dean’s senior leadership team, is the chief operating and financial officer in the Watson School. The future incumbent will have a charge to build and maintain a best-in-class administrative operation to support the launch and then significant planned growth of the school. The Associate Dean is a strategic leader, responsible for planning and strategy around resources for the School by managing its financial, funding, and budget models.  The Associate Dean oversees all operations and ensures the implementation of processes, procedures, and organizational structures to increase and maintain organizational effectiveness in the Watson School, including in areas such as finances, human resources, information technology, diversity and inclusion, faculty administration, space and facilities, and events. The Associate Dean drives operational excellence by leading teams within the Watson School that manage finances, human resources, faculty administration, and administrative operations.
