Military Fellows

The Watson School’s Military Fellows Program offers select U.S. and international military officers the opportunity to spend one year in our scholarly community auditing graduate-level courses, engaging in security-related seminars, and participating in a security-focused research working group with faculty, students and policy practitioners. The program provides a critical learning experience for the fellows, while at the same time enriching Brown University with the fellows’ knowledge, expertise and unique perspectives. After completing their year at Brown, fellows remain engaged with the Watson School community through a variety of outreach events regularly organized for program alumni. The Military Fellows Program was established in 2019 through a generous grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Current fellows are listed below.
