With 29 grants offered to students and recent alumni for the 2021-22 academic year, Brown earned the No. 1 spot as the country’s top producer of Fulbright winners, marking the fourth time the University earned the distinction.

In the pursuit of honoring international human rights, post-conflict rehabilitation and international public service, Mariana Villar ’22 spent the summer of 2021 researching Tuberculosis in Peru and the impact a diagnosis has on the patient's caregiver.
