Biography

Kathleen Hirkento McPeak recently earned her bachelor’s degree in policy studies from Syracuse University. During her internship with the Syracuse University Literacy Corps, she tutored local school children and managed the logistics of the tutoring program. She also interned with UNESCO and focused on heritage preservation in Florence, Italy. Kathleen is fluent in Swahili and hopes to work on development projects within East Africa. Kathleen is originally from Marsabit, Kenya and now lives in Syracuse, New York.
