Biography

Juan López recently earned his bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from Loyola University Maryland, with double minors in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Peace and Justice. He interned with Loyola’s Department of Political Science, researching Chinese investments in Chilean copper mines. Juan volunteered at the Esperanza Center, a Catholic charity, assisting lawyers with aid for non-native English speakers. He is Loyola's inaugural PPIA Fellow, an organization in DC focused on public policy and international affairs. Juan, a native of Ponce, Puerto Rico, is fluent in both English and Spanish. He aims to impact public affairs, especially in economic development, civil rights, and public-private partnerships.
