Isabella Nadeau

Biography

Isabella Nadeau recently earned her bachelor’s degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Massachusetts Boston Honors College. During an internship with the City of Boston’s Office of Returning Citizens, she created a reentry resource directory that assists individuals returning to the Boston area from incarceration with accessing basic needs. With an interest in policies that influence the dynamics of poverty intertwined with mass incarceration, Isabella also has worked as a policy fellow for Massachusetts Senator Liz Miranda and Rhode Island Governor Daniel J. McKee. Isabella played softball at the University of Massachusetts Boston and is the founder of a 501c4 Nonprofit Organization, Let’s Get Real About Athlete Mental Health, which advocates for the mental wellness of competitive athletes at all levels and has chapters at over 100 high schools and colleges throughout the United States. She is originally from North Smithfield, Rhode Island.
