Biography

Marcos Montoya Andrade earned a bachelor’s degree from Brown University with a double concentration in economics and international and public affairs. He gained experience with the League of United Latin American Citizens and conducted research under the guidance of Professor Kevin Escudero, further reinforcing his dedication to immigration policy. Fluent in Spanish and currently learning Portuguese, Marcos is passionate about quantitative research and policy analysis, particularly how economic outcomes are shaped by public policy. Originally from Guatemala and raised in Virginia after immigrating to the U.S. at age six.
