Biography

Emily Walshin brings over five years of experience advancing equity at the state and local levels through grassroots organizing, nonprofit program management, policy research, and municipal strategy. Most recently, she led data operations, inter-agency outreach, and strategic campaigns at the New York City Mayor's Public Engagement Unit, connecting underserved New Yorkers with critical benefits. Emily earned a bachelor’s degree in global and international studies from Bard College, with a concentration in the Middle East and North Africa. Rooted in Brooklyn by way of the Hudson Valley, her work is deeply influenced by a Jewish identity and a commitment to civic engagement and resource equity.
