Lizbeth Lucero most recently worked at New America, a think tank based in Washington, D.C.  She worked with the political reform program on research, strategies, and solutions to repair American democracy. She previously worked in a political and communications consulting firm based in New York City to support candidates running for office and national campaign issues such as reproductive and climate justice. Upon completing her degree, she hopes to continue exploring her interest in effective governance, civic engagement, and political and institutional reform. Lizbeth is originally from Brooklyn, NY and received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
