Wendy Lam recently earned her bachelor's degree in international relations and political science from Tufts University. Most recently, she interned with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, assisting investigators with case-related research and analysis to evaluate the implementation and impact of wage and hour laws across Massachusetts. Over the past three years, Wendy has been actively involved with the Asian University for Women (AUW) in Bangladesh through both campus initiatives and the AUW Support Foundation, where she supported fundraising efforts to expand access to higher education for women from Afghan, Pakistani, and Rohingya refugee communities. Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin, Wendy has leveraged her language skills to serve immigrant communities through legal aid work at Greater Boston Legal Services. She conducted more than 70 legal intake interviews for low-income and limited-English-proficient clients, providing interpretation and facilitating access to legal services. Born in Hong Kong and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Wendy is passionate about public service, language access, and expanding opportunities for underserved communities.
