Biography
I hold a PhD in Economics from ETH Zurich. I was a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School from 2022 to 2024.
Research
I work on topics in labor and education economics. My research focuses on understanding gaps between women and men in career choices and on studying the causes for the motherhood penalty in the labor market. In a current research project, I analyze whether changing public childcare from an opt-in to an opt-out default affects public childcare and parental labor supply. The goal is to better understand whether parents face behavioral frictions when making childcare decisions.
