Mohammad Matin-Nejad has worked in emergency medical services since 2011, with experience in emergency and flight medicine, emergency communications, mass casualty response, and disaster operations. He has served as a member of Massachusetts General Hospital global disaster response team and completed several national deployments with the American Red Cross while closely coordinating with the FBI, USCG, FEMA, MEMA, the White House, USSS, and local partners. His policy interests include preventative healthcare, health equity, emergency preparedness, and global public health systems. Mohammad hopes to create a meaningful impact in global public health and public policy systems. Mohammad earned his bachelor’s degree from MCPHS University and recently completed his MBA in healthcare management. Born in Esfahan, Iran, he moved to the United States with his family at age 15 and considers Cambridge, Massachusetts home.
