Lisa Duong served on the Library Board of Trustees at the City of Monterey Park Bruggermeyer Library for over six years. She works as a medical assistant at a medical clinic and is an aspiring physician-researcher passionate about advancing healthcare accessibility. Fluent in German and proficient in Cantonese and Vietnamese, Lisa hails from Mönchengladbach, Germany. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing management and a minor in economics from California State University, Los Angeles. Additionally, she completed her post-baccalaureate studies in premedical sciences at East Los Angeles College and UCLA Extension.
