Biography
Kelsey Smith recently earned her bachelor’s degree from Brown University, concentrating in international and public affairs in the policy and governance track. During an internship for a Providence nonprofit, Rhode Island For Community and Justice, she conducted research on Juvenile Hearing Boards, identifying best practices and effective language to standardize and improve board effectiveness statewide. Most recently, Kelsey interned in the District Office of Congressman Gabe Amo (RI-01), staffing events and assisting with constituent casework. She is fluent in Spanish and a skilled graphic designer. Kelsey hopes to work in health policy or programming, with a focus on literacy, language, and social media. She is from Washington, D.C.
