Biography

Jiselle Magana-Lopez completed her bachelor’s degree at University of Maryland, Baltimore County with dual majors in public health and psychology and has an interest in public policy, criminal justice reform, and health equity. She served as deputy chief of staff for Maryland state delegate and assistant majority leader Deni Taveras, where she supported legislative strategy, constituent engagement, and policy coordination. Jiselle also interned with the office of Governor Wes Moore and the Maryland office of the public defender, gaining experience in grant compliance, criminal justice, and public service. She is fluent in Spanish and is from Baltimore, Maryland.
