Evelin Ortiz-Muñoz recently earned her bachelor’s degree in public policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with dual minors in journalism and business administration. While interning with the Dudley Flood Center, Evelin researched the nation’s educational landscape to create a robust toolkit promoting equitable distribution of resources, school funding, and access to college prep programs in North Carolina’s K-12 schools. Evelin is fluent in Spanish. She hopes to work on advancing policy surrounding public benefit and anti-poverty programs, workers’ rights, and immigration.
