David Salomon is a Co-Founder and President of East End Advisors, a New York-based investment advisory firm dedicated to managing the investment interests of a small number of large families and affiliated foundations. The firm oversees $7 billion in assets and employs a multi-asset class approach to construct customized and broadly diversified portfolios consisting of marketable and alternative investments. 

Mr. Salomon serves on the Board of Governors at Brown University’s Watson School of International Studies, the Board of Regents at Boston College and is a trustee of the Brunswick School in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he serves as the Investment Committee Chairman. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the Complexity Society at the Santa Fe Institute. Mr. Salomon is President of the Salomon Family Foundation which supports outcomes-driven education initiatives in the New York City area. Former board service includes the Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT), The King School (Stamford, CT), Harlem Academy, and Year Up New York.
