Biography
Alexander McAllister earned his bachelor’s degree in quantitative finance and mathematics from James Madison University. While at Freddie Mac he would go on to propose substantial changes to the models underpinning housing finance. His most prominent project would quantify the structural inequities of the housing markets and left a sharp critique on how the housing system by pricing out market participants and restricting access to debt would worsen existing inequities. Recently, he has worked to address what structural changes would create a more just, equitable, and robust housing system.
